Itinerary

Day 1: Discovering the wonders of Petra

The first day of your excursion will take you to the breathtaking ancient city of Petra. Petra, sometimes known as the “Rose City” because to its stunning pink sandstone cliffs, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New7Wonders of the World. You’ll be able to tour the famed Treasury, Roman Theatre, and Royal Tombs, all of which were cut into the rock by the Nabataeans over 2,000 years ago.
After a long day visiting Petra, we’ll travel to the lovely village of Madaba for a restful overnight stay. Madaba is well-known for its exquisite Byzantine mosaics, especially the renowned Madaba Map, which depicts the Holy Land from the sixth century.

Day 2: From Mount Nebo to the ancient ruins of Jerash

On the second day of your journey, we’ll begin with a visit to Mount Nebo, where Moses is believed to have glimpsed the Promised Land before passing. From this vantage point, you can see the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Jerusalem’s far hills.
Next, we’ll visit the ancient Roman city of Jerash, which is one of the world’s best-preserved Roman provincial cities. As you walk through its colonnaded streets, temples, theatres, and plazas, you’ll feel taken back to the Roman Empire.
Finally, we will end our trip with a drop-off at Jordan’s northern border, where you will have the option of continuing your journey into Israel.
