Amman – Jerusalem,
Meet and assist at Sheikh Hussein Bridge.
Drive south via the Jordan Valley till the north end of the Dead Sea, turn west, crossing the Judean desert and ascending the Judean mountains to Jerusalem, Stop atop the Mt. of Olives for a panoramic view of the old city where over 4000 years of history is revealed, descend to the foot of the mountain to Gethsemane, cross the Kidron Valley and enter the walled city, visit the Wailing Wall, walk the Via Dolorosa, station by station to Golgotha and the Holy Sepulcher.
Walk through the Roman Cardo and exit the town via Zion Gate on Mt. Zion to visit the traditional ‘Room of the Last Supper’, drive through the streets of New Jerusalem to the Menorah in front of the Israeli parliament, and then transfer to your hotel for overnight.
Caesaria – Haifa – Akko & Rosh HaNikra, In the morning, drive to Caesaria, Herod the Great’s masterpiece, and domicile of the Roman governors, includes Pontius Pilate, continue north along the shores of the Mediterranean to Haifa, and Mt. Carmel for a scenic view of Bahai Gardens, the city and the port.
Continue north to Akka, best known for the part it played as a gateway port city to the holy land during the crusader period with its intricate subterranean city of Crusader halls and sanctuaries. Drive back to Jerusalem for over night.
Jerusalem – Bethlahem,
In the morning, visit Bethlehem and the Church of the Nativity, the Milk Grotto and the Shepherds Field. Returning to Jerusalem, visit Gethsemane, Mary’s Tomb, the Mount of Olives, Pater Noster, and Bethany, Overnight in Jerusalem.
Jerusalem – Ein Karem – Amman,
After breakfast, depart for Mt. Zion to visit the Cenacle and Dormition Abbey. Stop at the souk for shopping and souvenirs, in the afternoon, we visit Ein Karem, and the Churches of the Visitation and St. John.
