Itinerary

Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel i and take you to Petra. Once the you arrive in Petra, you will start your guided tour of the ancient city. You’ll tour the renowned Treasury, Roman Theater, Royal Tombs, and much more, all with historical and cultural context to help you comprehend their value.
Your guide can recommend some options for lunch based on your preferences.
Following lunch, your guide will take you to Wadi Rum, which is about an hour and a half away from Petra.
Your first stop will be the Seven Pillars of Wisdom, a rock formation named after the book written by T.E. Lawrence. You’ll have the opportunity to take photos and admire the breathtaking views.
Next, you’ll drive through the charming village of Rum, where you’ll see traditional Bedouin homes and experience local culture.
You’ll then make your way to Lawrence Spring, a natural spring named after T.E. Lawrence. Here, you can take a break, enjoy some refreshments, and take in the serene surroundings.
And finally, you will visit Khazali Canyon, a narrow canyon with ancient inscriptions on the walls, before proceeding to the sand dunes, where you can climb to the top and take in the stunning views of the surrounding desert landscape.
After your tour of Wadi Rum, your guide will drive you back to your accommodation, where you can relax and reflect on your incredible day exploring two of Jordan’s most amazing destinations.

Walking distance:

  • It is expected to walk the distance from the main entrance of Petra to the basin and back, which is 8.4 km (5.2 miles).
  • A Wadi Rum tour does not involve walking long distances.
