This two – day tour is appropriate for visitors arriving in Aqaba City by any entrance point, including Aqaba Airport, Sharm El Sheikh, Taba, Aqaba Port, and Saudi borders.

Itinerary

Day 1: Aqaba – Petra
Our first visit is Petra, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and unquestionably one of Jordan’s most well-known attractions. This UNESCO World Heritage site has amazing rock-cut buildings, such as the famed Treasury, Monastery, and Royal Tombs, which will take your breath away.

Then there’s Little Petra, an old Nabatean site not far from Petra. Your professional guide will tell you about the area’s rich history as you marvel at the spectacular rock-cut facades, temples, and tombs.

Day 2: Little Petra – Shoubak Castle – Dana – Aqaba
Today we’ll go to Shoubak, where we’ll see the Crusader stronghold erected in the 12th century by King Baldwin I of Jerusalem. You may learn about the castle’s rich history while admiring the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
Next, we’ll visit Dana’s lovely nature reserve, where you’ll be able to explore the area’s breathtaking scenery and distinctive fauna. This biosphere reserve is home to a diverse range of flora and animals, and you’ll get the opportunity to wander through canyons, wadis, and mountains while taking in the stunning view.

Site topography

The sites are scattered out across a large region at various places and heights, therefore excellent walking shoes are required.

Walking distance

The distance from the Visitor Center to the Basin in Petra is 4.2 kilometers (2.6 miles), and the same distance walking back to the Main Gate.
