Day 1:

Arrive Amman,
Ahlan Wasahlan (Welcome in Arabic) you are warmly welcomed at Amman Queen Alia International Airport and subsequently transferred to Amman to your hotel for dinner and overnight. |
Day 2:
|
Amman – Jerash – Amman,
Early in the morning you will visit Amman Citadel, the Archeological Museum, then visiting the Roman Theater, then drive north to
Jerash (Gerasa), once known as the land of Gilead, Known in the Bible as the region of the Gerasenes.
It was part of the Roman Decapolis and is sometimes referred to as the Pompei of the East, the best-preserved city of Roman times, and visit its theaters, temples, churches and colonnaded streets.
Then drive back to Amman to your hotel for dinner and over night.

Day 3:
|
Amman – Desert Castles – Dead Sea – Amman,
After breakfast, drive to the eastern desert of Jordan, today you shall see three of the best-preserved desert castles;
– Qasr Al-Harrana castle,
– Qusayr Amra is placed by Unesco on its World Heritage List.
– Qasr al-Azraq is built in black basalt and has been in continuous use since Roman times, during the Arab Revolt it functioned as the headquarters of Lawrence of Arabia.
In the afternoon you will be transferred to the Dead Sea where you can spend some time swimming and relaxing at the beach and have a mud path, Evening back to your hotel in Amman, dinner and over night.

Day 4:

Amman – Madaba – Nebo – Kerak Castle – Petra,
After breakfast transfer to Madaba and visit the famous mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. Your next stop will be Mount Nebo, where like Moses you will be able to overlook the Holy Land and the Dead Sea. If the sky is clear Jerusalem, Jericho and Bethlehem will meet your eye.
The journey will continue along the King’s Highway. On the way you will pass through Wadi Mujib, the grand canyon of Jordan, you will stop in Kerak for lunch.
In the afternoon you will visit the huge castle where Saladin and Richard Lionheart fought during the crusades. While enjoying the beautiful landscapes the journey continues along the King’s Highway to Petra, your final destination for today.

Day 5:
|
Petra,
A magnificent day ahead as we visit the many sites of Petra, the city carved into the rose-red Mountains by the Nabateans and lost to Civilization until re-discovered by the Swiss Burkhardt.
Walk through the Siq, a narrow and winding fissure between the cliffs, to reach the Treasury, the Roman Nabatean Theater, the Royal Tombs, the Roman Road, the great temple, the temple of the Winged Lion and the basin, evening back to your hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 6:

Petra – Little Petra – shoubak Castle – Dana – Rum,
In the morning there will be a visit to Little Petra, Beer Alarayes, the Nabatean Markets and Siq alBarid, Nabatean Quest houses and temples then visit the crusader castle of Shoubak, during the crusades period it was known as Montreal.
Then drive to the village of Dana which offers an excellent view of the Dana Nature Reserve, then drive to Wadi Rum for dinner and overnight stay at your desert camp. |
Day 7:

Wadi Rum – Amman,
Today we drive south to Wadi Rum, to the land of Lawrence of Arabia, you shall pass the famous Seven Pillars of Wisdom, described by Lawrence of Arabia and explore Wadi Rum by jeep for two hours.
Visit Lawrence spring, Al khazaali canyon and the inscriptions made by the Thamudic and Nabatean people centuries ago, and climb one of the sand dunes later we return to Amman using the old Desert Highway for dinner and over night. |
Day 7:

Petra – Amman – Departure,
Transfer to the airport for departure.
