Itinerary
Day 1: Airport - Amman
Meets and assist at Queen Alia Airport, assist
with Visa formalities, transfer to Amman, check in at your
hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Amman - Umm Qais - Jerash - Ajlun – Amman
After breakfast, transfer to Umm Qais , which was
built mainly out of black basalt. Here you can enjoy the
impressive view over Lake Tiberius and the Golan Heights. And
then drive down to Rabad Castle (Ajlun castle) you will visit
the Islamic military castle of
Ajloun.
The castle was used by the Islamic armies of Saladin to protect
the region against the crusaders. And next destination will be
Jerash You will visit Jerash, the Pompeii of the East. You will
enter
Jerash
through the monumental South Gate and find yourself wandering
around in a Roman city. You will walk in the Oval Plaza
surrounded by colonnades, visit the Roman theatre and Byzantine
churches with mosaic-covered floors. Enjoy a stroll along Jerash’
main road the Cardo and pass by the Nymphaeum. Jerash has been
covered by sand for centuries, the main reason why it is still
so well-preserved. You may experience the marvelous acoustics of
the theatre, the stage of the Jerash music festival which takes
place every year. And see for yourself how the Romans built the
earthquake-proof columns of the colonnaded streets. Evening back
to Amman, enjoy the night highlights of the capital of Jordan,
dinner at your hotel or at nice restaurant, overnight.

Day 3: Amman - Desert Castles – Amman
Breakfast and transfer to East of Jordan The
Romans were not deterred by the desert climate and built a chain
of fortresses along the ‘limes arabicus’, the frontiers of their
new Arabic province. Most of the castles you can visit nowadays
were built by the caliphs during the Ummayyad period. Some are
decorated with fine mosaics, frescoes, stone and stucco carvings
and illustrations. They stand as silent and impressive evidence
of Jordan’s rich history. Today you shall see three of the
best-preserved desert castles.
Qasr al-Mushatta
is the largest and most richly decorated Ummayyad castle in
Jordan. It’s a large, square fortress, surrounded by walls with
circular towers on every side.
Qusayr Amra
is placed by Unesco on its World Heritage List. Its interior
walls and ceilings are covered with lively frescoes and two of
its rooms are paved with colorful mosaics.
Qasr al-Azraq
is built in black basalt and has been in continuous use since
Roman times. During the Arab Revolt it functioned as the
headquarters of Lawrence of Arabia. Late in the afternoon you
will be transferred to the
Azraq Oasis
and be shown the highlights of the oasis. Evening back to your
hotel in Amman, dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Amman - Madaba - Nebo - Dead Sea – Karak
After breakfast transfer to Madaba and visit the
famous mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. Your next stop
will be
Mount Nebo,
where like Moses you will be able to overlook the Holy Land and
the Dead Sea. If the sky is clear Jerusalem, Jericho and
Bethlehem will meet your eye. The journey will continue along
the
King’s Highway.
And travel down to Dead Sea, check in at private beach, free
time, floating, use mud on your body, swimming, have lunch
optional at the beach, in the evening drive up to Karak castle
you will visit the huge castle where Saladin and Richard
Lionheart fought during the crusades.

Day 5: Karak - Wadi Ibn Hammad - Dana natural
reserve
Today is canoeing and trekking via Wadi Ibn
Hammad for 8 hours, rated 9,38/10, The start of the trip is 34
km north of Kerak in a very small village, The road winds down
towards the river. Then you start walking, and almost
immediately, you'll walk in the water and into the narrow siq,
with plants and palm trees on the wall, some waterfalls here and
there. Most of the time you'll walk in the water with water
under the knees, at some places the water will come till your
waist. This will of course also depend on the time of the year
you're coming. Also, your local guide will know that you cannot
do this walk during or shortly after rain due to the risk of
flash floods. After 3 hours, you get out of the siq. We will
stop here for lunch. Then you'll go for another 2,5 to 3 hours.
Pick up near Dead Sea side and drive to Dana natural reserve,
where we stay at different style hotel in different village and
different world

Day 6: Dana Natural reserve
Breakfast, enjoy the amazing view of Dana Natural
reserve, walk around in the old village, and visit Dana Springs,
free afternoon at the terrace of the guesthouse

Day 7: Dana - Wadi Dana - Fainan
We will start from Dana Village, short visit to
Dana Spring, and via old olive trees in Dana we cross down in
Wadi Dana via made-trail by Jordan Beauty Tours, and we hike
down to the hole of Wadi Dana, there will have break after three
hours of easy hike, under a tree 2000 Years old, and we will
have cup of tea which made by the tour guide, after half of
break will continue easy hike via Bedouin trail to Qussaib
Spring, there you can wash, and then continue to more couple
hours hiking near Atta’the Spring, there will have Lunch break
and cup of Bedouin tea, and we will continue to the end of the
great Valley of Dana Natural Reserve, ending at Edge, a
beautiful hotel that made from mud, we will cross the beginning
of Wadi Araba desert, there Bedouin family will be waiting to
welcome you at their Bedouin tents, and will have Bedouin
tradition dinner, and the tour guide will tell you the story of
the Bedouin tribe over there, as well as more about the Bedouin
history. Dinner and overnight at the Bedouin tent with that
family.

Day
8: Fainan - Wadi Ghuwair - Wadi Araba - Wadi Namala - Little
Petra
After breakfast, and say goodbye to the Bedouin
family, we will hike down to copper mines in Wadi Fainan, the
oldest and biggest copper mines in the world in ancient time, a
short visit and then continue to Wadi Ghwair, the Jeeps will be
waiting us there, and will drive by Jeep inside the canyon which
has 20 – 30 Cm water high, deep in the canyon the Jeeps will
stop there and then continue canoeing till the end of the canyon
after two hours of canoeing there. Ride our jeeps crossing the
desert of Wadi Araba and the amazing landscape of Wadi Namala,
we arrive to Little Petra the stone age area, and the first
sites of Petra, we camp at Bedouin tents we have summer night
with Bedouin loud and dram, and dinner under candles light.

Day 9: Little Petra – Petra
Today visit the sites of Petra from back road, to
start with the monastery, Qasr Al-Bint, Museum, columned street,
court, evening walk up to city of Petra, check in at hotel.

Day 10: Petra
Full day sightseeing in Petra, visit main Siq,
treasury, theatre, court, sacrifice high place, soldier tombs,
Wadi Habis, great temple, evening walk back to hotel.

Day 11: Petra - Wadi Rum
In the morning you will be transferred to
Wadi Rum.
You shall pass the famous seven pillars of wisdom, described by
Lawrence of Arabia and explore Wadi Rum by jeep, escorted by a
Bedouin guide. You shall see the house where Lawrence of Arabia
lived, and the inscriptions made by the Thamudic and Nabatean
people centuries ago. And you may even climb one of the natural
rock bridges. We will check in at deluxe campsite, (all
suppliers and equipment are available), dinner Bedouin BBQ,
overnight at the campsite in the middle of Wadi Rum.

Day 12: Wadi Rum – Aqaba
Sunrise in the Arabian desert of Wadi Rum, drive
to Aqaba, at southern beach, free time at Red Sea peaches,
optional: Diving or Snorkeling, at leisure

Day 13: Aqaba – Amman
Free morning, visit the new market of Aqaba, and
Aqaba Castle, afternoon drive via desert high way to Amman,
visit Roman theatre in Amman, citadel, old market, free time for

14: Amman - Airport
After breakfast, drive to queen alia airport,
